Question about GUI Integration.

Hi, I recently purchased your Inventory system. I am making a text based game and I was making my own inventory system but I like yours a little better. So anyways my question is I tried to integrate it into my GUI system that I already created and having difficulties setting it up. 

So what I have, a loot system based off of buttons, at the end of a battle the player gets a random set of loot placed in button holders, if the player hits one of the buttons it sends the selected item to the inventory. 

The problem I am having is getting the button system to integrate with your collision system, I am not sure how or where to start the transference.

So that is my question...how can I change your collision based inventory pickup with a button based pickup.

Hi Darnen! So you want to pick items when you click on button, not when collide with 3d item on scene, right?
That shouldn't be too hard to integrate, all you have to do is to send proper events to inventory when you want for item to be picked. What is important here is to set hash tables properly because items when collide with items right now it will get GUI component of that item that is defined and it will add that item to inventory hash table, what you have to do is to get reference from project in the same way. You have to add somehow on those buttons where you picking items your GUI reference of items and based on clicks create those in inventory and add to hash tables.
Does this helps a bit or you still have troubles?
Anyway i am close to finish my new Inventory update, it is so good and so easy to set up, you will love it but i still have to finish and integrate all the features from previous version.

Okay, thanks that is pretty much what I was planning to do. I just figured I would ask to make sure there wasn't a specific way of doing it. Thanks for the reply, I will let you know if it works.

HI any one have any experience  with UI integration into VR (oculus rift) im having a problem with see/finding UI graphics in the rift ! Thanks
